The Sun Signs

They can withdraw into a shell when hurt. Although they are sensitive they are not weak and have a hidden strength and tenacity. Cancerians are diplomatic and masters of the art of passive resistance.

July 23rd to August 22nd

Leos are ruled by the Sun and this represents their vitality, generosity and lust for life. They are very noble, independent and romantic. Leos have a love of children; they have a high opinion of themselves and are open to all kinds of flattery. They have the authority and dignity of the lion. The key phrase for Leo is ' I will'. Leos come into problems when their love of a good time takes over from their responsible nature. Leo is a Fixed, Fire sign.

August 23rd to September 22nd

Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury. Virgos are good, steady workers. They are systematic and discriminatory. Their work is , therefore, done with an eye for detail.

Scorpio is rules by the planets Mars and Pluto. Scorpio is the sign of hidden power and force like the scorpion with the sting in its tail. It is a very powerful sign often showing up as a transforming energy of regeneration. Scorpios have strong desires and a passionate nature but usually this is well controlled by their strong will power.
They can be fighters for freedom, independence and justice. Often having psychic feelings, they are secretive and possessive. Scorpios are perfectionists.
